As Toronto’s iconic King Street arts and entertainment district is set for a bold new transformation, we invite you to join us as we unveil more details about the Mirvish + Gehry Toronto  project.

On October 3 the Empire Club of Canada will be bringing together two of Canada’s foremost thinkers on the arts, architecture and urban development for a unique lunchtime discussion entitled Legacy and the Public Realm: Dreaming with Frank Gehry.  The event will take the form of a conversation between David Mirvish and the Toronto Star’s Christopher Hume. Guests will learn more about Mr. Mirvish’s collaboration with renowned architect and visionary Frank Gehry that will see King Street evolve into a thriving, livable urban community with the finest in art, culture, design and life Toronto has to offer.

Established in 1903, the Empire Club is recognized as Canada’s oldest, largest and most distinguished speaker’s forum. It has hosted over 3,500 prominent Canadian and international leaders including Winston Churchill and the Dalai Lama.

Individual tickets are $80 (and tables of 10 are also available for $799.99) and include a delicious lunch at the Westin Harbour Castle Hotel, Metropolitan Ballroom. You can purchase tickets directly from the Empire Club – online at www.empireclub.org and by phone at 416-364-2878.
